Neume Tote

$40.00

Neume Tote Bags with Demestvo logo pocket inside

~ The proceeds from your purchase go directly towards funding our upcoming tour to Georgia and Armenia ~

About the Totes: The core of our repertoire, 17th century Russian polyphony, is notated in neumes, black and red symbols indicating a note or group of notes. Though most of us don’t read this traditional notation—relying instead on transcriptions by our brilliant founder, Anastasia Shmytova, and her mentor, Evgeny Skurat—we find the symbols so beautiful, we just had to turn them into totes for ourselves and our supporters.

MADE TO ORDER: Please allow 2-4 weeks for fulfillment. (Our member, Lucy, makes them all by herself, with the help of an embroidery machine)
